Trying To Lose Weight...Try The Junk Food Diet

If you have ever tried to lose weight, you know junk food can be a weakness and destroy your  best intentions.  But what if it didn't have to?

A Kansas State University professor is making world headlines by his claims of losing thirty pounds in ten weeks all while eating junk food. 

Nutritionist Mark Haub says it all began as a class project to challenge his students to think outside the box.  What he came up with was eating junk food every day...Twinkies, nutty bars and snack cakes of all kinds.  The result was a thirty pound weight loss.

So how exactly did professor Haub do it?  Well, truth be told, he says it really boils down to counting calories.  He documented what he ate everyday and tried to stick with 1,800 calories a day.  But he says those calories included the fatty junk foods that he craved and wanted to eat.  Ultimately,  he says his diet may challenge the notion that you cannot eat fatty foods everyday and lose weight.

Professor Haub says when it comes to dieting, many people end up ditching their plans because they don't like what they're eating.  He says the junk food diet shows, at least for him, you can eat what you want...even junk food.  The key he says is moderation.

Now if someone could show me how to stop at just one donut, or one cookie, or one candy bar I might give it a try!!!
