One thing seasoned mothers have told me over and over again during my pregnancy is that you just can't describe what it feels like to actually meet your baby for the first time. So far, pregnancy has reminded me of being a bride-to-be: you just can't explain what it really feels like until you go through it for yourself. It's still pretty amazing to me every time I catch a glimpse of myself and "the bump."
I have toyed with the idea of keeping a journal during my pregnancy, but admittedly, I feel like I've been reading more about pregnancy than actually writing about mine. There's a lot to learn! So when a friend suggested taking pictures each month of the growing baby bump, it seemed like a good idea.
I've thought about to the baby, about the first time I felt a kick, about the first time Chris was able to feel a kick, and how the kicks keep coming, even during the morning show.
How have you documented your pregnancy? I'd love to hear your ideas!
