I'm sure many of you can agree with this. Drivers are getting more dangerous on the roads. Take the blinker issue for example. The driver has a blinker on going left, and decides to go right. Then there's the classic, no signal at all, then cutting across lanes. Or the blinker is on for miles, and you have to guess when they'll turn. Of course there's the classic no turn signal at all. But that is nothing these days, with ridiculous tailgating, leaving high beams on, and pulling out without looking. But the most dangerous I've seen, is now, not only are people running red lights, but 3 or 4 cars are following them through the light. And it's red for a solid second or two.
Going home one night I must have had an angel with me. I was at an intersection, windows were fogged up, could see through my drivers window a bit, should have rolled it down. As my light went green, I saw a blur from my left going right. Had I gone on the green light right away, I could have been toast. It seems nowadays you have to drive more defensively than ever. Oh did I mention, somebody on their phone, driving 45 in a 55. I could go on and on, but it's back to the weather maps to figure out the weather for Halloween.
