I came across an interesting comment on one of our stories on witn.com tonight.
One reader didn't like the idea that lawmakers are considering allowing an increase in taxes to fund road projects. The individual suggested voting them out of office and that term limits should be in place for all politicians.
Well, what about it? Should there be term limits for state lawmakers and members of Congress? If so, how do you think it should be done? Lawmakers certainly aren't going to suggest such legislation. It would seem if it's going to happen it will take a grassroots effort by the people, perhaps a voter referendum.
Or maybe you're among those who believe sending politicians back to Raleigh or Washington D.C. year after year is a good thing.
