2009 is off to a dry start but that's about to change.
The new year has been dry for eastern Carolina so far. But that's about to change for the second half of the weekend into next week. We'll see a warm front heading our way on Sunday..the result will be increasing showers...with temperatures a few degrees above normal. It appears Monday will be dry and mild...but that will be short-lived. Another stronger system will bring increasing rain chances late Monday night through Tuesday..and into Wednesday. Then once we get rid of the rain..much colder air moves into the region beginning Thursday into the next weekend. And so far...it looks likes the precipitation will take the liquid form for the next week. We'll have to keep dreaming for snow.
