Flood Warning For Many Rivers
Many locations across eastern Carolina are under a flood warning.

Many locations across eastern Carolina are under a flood warning.
The Tar River in Greenville is included in that warning from Sunday morning until further notice. The river is at 10.7 feet. Flood stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to continue to rise to near 16.2 feet by Wednesday evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter. Impact at 16.0 feet is widespread low land flooding adjacent to the river. Some farmland will begin to flood across Pitt County.
Other locations included in the flood warning are Contentnea creek near Hookerton affecting Greene County, Neuse River in Lenoir County, and the Roanoke River near Williamston affecting Martin County
