About 22,650 jars of American Spoon Foods brand Apple Chipotle Salsa, Maple BBQ Grilling Sauce and Pumpkin Chipotle Roasting Sauce have been recalled because they may contain undeclared wheat flour and may put certain consumers at risk for wheat or gluten sensitivities or allergies.
No illnesses have been reported. The products from Petoskey, Mich.-based American Spoon Foods were sold in its stores in Michigan, via mail order from American Spoon Foods and through specialty food retailers in states including North Carolina.
About 5,700 convertible clothes irons distributed by Sunbeam Products Inc. of Boca Raton, Florida are recalled because the iron can overheat and cause a fire due to a wiring issue, posing a risk of burns. No injuries have been reported.
The recalled product is the Sunbeam Convertible Iron, which is a blue and gray, hand-held garment iron that converts to a garment steamer. They were sold at Bed Bath & Beyond stores nationwide from June 2010 to November 2010 and made China.
Also recalled- about 460,000 air compressors made by DeVilbiss Air Power Company of Jackson, Tenn., because the motor can overheat, posing a fire hazard. DeVilbiss received 9 reports of motors overheating, including three reports of fire damage.
No injuries have been reported. The recalled compressors were sold under the Craftsman, Delta Shopmaster, DeVilbiss, Husky and Porter-Cable brand names. DeVilbiss, Porter-Cable, Husky and Delta Shopmaster compressors were sold at home centers nationwide from January 2003 through December 2004. Craftsman compressors were sold at Sears stores nationwide from September 2000 through December 2005.
